Telethon 2003

The Telethon is a France-wide event to raise money for Research into children's diseases, and we were invited to perform at this  by the Mairie of Chateauneuf-de-Grasse.  On a bright sunny day in December, we danced 2 sessions in the car park at Le Pre-du-Lac.

Despite competition from Helicopter "Baptisms" in a neighbouring parking and Mexican Dancers, we were well received and we even persuaded some of the crowd to join us in the Gay Gordons.
The Organisation sent us a very nice "thank you" note and also gave us the information that we had helped the commune to raise more than 5100€ for this worthy cause.
A few of us also attended a "pot d'amité" at the mairie.
